Training and Outreach

MNF provides free, 1-hour webinars for state, local, and tribal Equitable Sharing Program participants. Webinars are typically held twice per month with each webinar addressing one of the four topics below. These targeted learning sessions enable you to select a training best suited to your Program functions and interests. Participants must be registered to attend. Due to high demand, if more than one person per agency would like to participate, personnel should coordinate and view the webinar together under a single sign-on when possible. Program Overview and Requesting Sharing

This webinar provides a high-level overview of the fundamentals of the Equitable Sharing Program including the Program tenets, participation, and requesting sharing. 

eShare Portal and Agency Compliance

This webinar shows users how to navigate the eShare Portal, highlighting its functions, features, and resources. The webinar also covers your agency’s annual reporting requirements and walks users through completing the required annual Equitable Sharing Agreement and Certification (ESAC). 

Using Equitable Sharing Funds

This webinar discusses the permissible and impermissible uses for equitable sharing funds. Participants will better understand their agency’s purchasing options and more easily navigate grey areas to ensure funds are spent permissibly. 

Accounting and Bookkeeping Requirements

This webinar is tailored to agency and jurisdiction finance who administer an agency’s equitable sharing funds. This webinar covers how to setup your account, maintain your agency’s sharing funds, and the bookkeeping procedures and internal controls that the Program requires.
